New marks are on Powerschool
FLA: Students need to complete the reading of their Novel and will have to write a resumé based on their own observation and note. They will also have to hand-in their yellow worksheet.
SS: There will be a test chapter 4 on Tuesday, Feb 11. It will be like a PAT format. We will also start chapter 5 on Immigration.
ELA: Last week we had some time to play the games that some of you created for your novel study final project. We then signed out new silent reading books and learned how to create a thesis statement for a critical response essay. Next week we will progress with the essay plan, learning how to develop and support our ideas for the body paragraphs of our essay.
Math : Students are finishing their Chapter 4 in class. We will have a
Quiz on Wednesday to review the chapter. Next week, we begin our review
for the Midterm. We will take 4 days to study in class and the midterm
will take place on February 24,25 and 26 in 3 parts. Students should
begin their review right away.
