Sciences:
Study sheet for theme 1 on module 3 due Monday.
Many marks will be added to Power School shortly for our 2nd term.
Math : The grades for the test on Chapter 8 : Equations are up. This
test was difficult for most students and I encourage everyone to review
these concepts. Being able to solve equations using algebra and opposite
operation is a skill needed for high school. Students can come in at
lunch for help! We are beginning a new chapter this week (Chapter 4 :
Scales and similar shapes).
SS: We will finish chapter 4. There will be a test on Monday February 10th.
FLA: Students need to read the novel until chapter 16 and to complete their worksheets to chapter 16. I strongly suggest they read out loud on a daily basis to improve their speaking skills.
ELA: We will finish up our final project presentations and then we will begin looking at how to write a thesis statement and build upon it to create a plan for a critical response essay.
