Week of Nov. 18

FLA:  This week we planned the visit of MC June next week for the workshop and his show. Students worked on Figure de styles and had a short quiz with our student teacher. Next week will be busy with the Artist in Residence and the parent-teacher interviews. Make sure you review Powerschool for any missing assignments.

Math :
This week we continue practicing concepts related to polynomials. We will be multiplying and dividing polynomials. Students can always use the extra worksheets on D2L to improve their understanding of these important concepts. A common mistake in grade 9 is to confuse adding and multiplying polynomials therefore practice is key!

SS: This week we worked on the process of being part of a Jury with different scenarios as well as discussing current events. We will continue working on chapter 2 next week and for the remainder of the month of November. Make sure you review Powerschool for any missing assignments.

ELA:  We will finish up our irony projects and book talks this week.  Be ready to present your irony projects to the class on Wednesday!
